I have a Jacob F. Schneider in this family as a child, but I don't have a marriage and so without a b.d. for Anna Elis. Zwetzig, it would be impossible to tell if this was the same Jacob/Jakob Schneider.

I would like to inform everyone that a group of us that work under the heading of Lower Volga Village Research Group, have ordered charts from Igor Pleve (a Russian History Professor in Saratov)previously on the surnames LAUBHAN, WASEMULLER, REISIG, OBLANDER, BECKER, STRICKER, KRAFT, and EHRLICH all from the village of Shcherbakovka (aka Tscherbakowka and Muhlburg). We currently have charts ordered for STEINERT, WINTER, HANSCHU, AND ZWETZIG. These charts cost us between $500 and $800 per chart and go back to the original settler with that surname in 1765, coming from Germany to Russia. We then sell copies of the charts for $35 after receiving them to help defray the expense. The last 4 charts have been on order for about 1 year and we were quoted 2-3 years for delivery.
