Dear Jean:

I noted that you have many Davises in your line. William Hiram Cecil was the
son of John Cecil and Mary Davis (of Arkansas). William moved to
Oklahoma...don't know date, but he and wife are buried in the cemetery outside
of Lindsay. I have been trying to trace anything on Mary Davis (a very common
name, alas) She was born in Tennessee...and may have wed John in Missouri but
don't know!! Where did your Davis line come from? Just thought I'd ask...
