Lois: Here's a good one for "puzzles". I knew & dated my husband for 2
years before we married. All that time, the only name I ever knew him
by was "Jack". Everyone that I knew including family called him tht.
Lo & Behold!! when we went to get license, his name was "Thomas". It's
still confusing because family (Mine & His) call him "Jack" and everyone
else "Tom". When he was in service, he used "Tom" so conversations sound
a bit strange, when I say something about "Jack" and others say "Tom" &
we are talking about the same person.
My oldest grandson was nearly 14 before he realized Grandpa was a "Tom".
