Sharon is right, a clue is a clue is a clue.

I found a cousin, (so to speak) on Genforum. He descends from my HOPKINS'
daughter.

When I first started searching on the internet, I found another related to my
HOPKINS' brother.

If you post your surnames to the OKGENWEB and/or to the counties where you are
searching, people who are also searching those names can contact you that way.
I posted my surnames in McCurtain County and have gotten several emails of
inquiry, but as of yet, no connections. But maybe some day. I have also
posted my surnames to the rootsweb surname list and have gotten a couple of
emails of inquirty from there as well.

I say the more you post your surnames out there, where ever, even when you
sign someone's guest book, you'll never know when that connection may find
you.
