Hi all - Joni has been at it again - she now has 29 bios on the above board -
all posted this month -- many many surnames and some town histories.

I have been transcribing Biographies from the History of Indian Territory,
1901. With the direction and support of Marti at Rootsweb, this site is on
its way! This book is packed with good genealogical data for both Indian and
Non-Indian Individuals. My dedication is to post the Bio's with any hint of
Native American ancestry first. So keep checking this site for possible
ancestors!

Along with typing up the Bio's, I'm including the Territory Towns. These
sections tell you a bit about that town and their first settlers or about a
few of those who lived there around mid-1800's to 1901. I have also listed
the surnames included in that Town description, for my fellow Genealogists.

I'll be adding Bio's/Towns to this site several times each week [there are
over 900 of them].

You can also do a SURNAME SEARCH within this project. Search engines are
accessible from this main website.

Many sincere Thank You's to Marti and all at RootsWeb for setting up this
site!
