Hello Everybody,

Question: Is there an index of the over 2000 letters discovered in the
summer of 1919 in a farm house not far from the former home of General
Stand Watie in northeastern Oklahoma.

In the preface of the book , Cherokee Cavaliers, it states that the
collection is in the Frank Phillips Collection of Southwestern History of
the University of Oklahoma. Have any of you read any of them that are
NOT in the book, Cherokee Cavaliers? Are they on microfilm?

I know from reading Cherokee Cavaliers that there is a wealth of
genealogical information, not only to the Boudinot/Ridge/Watie families,
but to many Cherokee families.
