Both my computers came through just fine. I wasn't too worried about the
newer Compaq Presario, but Kade has an old clone computer that gave me pause.
But even it came through just fine.

All this scare over Y2K points out something to me. While the experts may
feel confident about what they and their computers are doing, we novices
don't !! We tend to see our computers as strange characters that we do not
fully understand and are a bit in awe of them. Computers are, basically, an
exercize in numbers, pure math. Math is one of the more absolute, exact
sciences, so if one plus one still equals two it should make no difference
what the date is, the answer is still two.

Makes me resolved to get to understand my computer completely so I too can be
sure it will work in the year 3000 !
