Becky: Black eyed peas are simple to cook. You can either buy them frozen
or in cans or you can get them fresh. I season them real well and use some
salt pork or ham as an extra seasoning and let them cook until they are soft
(not mushy). You cook them similar to any bean that you might cook. Guess
when its something you've always cooked &/or had you don't think about
