Have you sent for the service records of your m-I-l's grandfather? They
will tell you just about everything you want to know.
I have my grt grandfathers. He entered the home one day and died the next.
I also have a picture of his grave. It was taken about 20 years ago.
When I was in California last year I was not able to go to the cemetery but
did look up the address.
