Becky: the reason historical societies don't really want all mementos is
that usually they don't have space to put things. I know, the one I belong
to has to share a room in the local library. We have no place to put
things. I offered to send the original of my grandmother's high school
diploma back to Missouri and they refused it. The only reason I was going
to send it was because she had said she would like it to go back there. But
I have kept it and it will be added to my original marriage licenses, etc.

Have you ever looked at the Healdton Primary School photo dated about 1918?
I have it and it's online, too.

Sheri put it up for me back in Sept or so of 99. Just click on it to
enlarge.

The reason for the GEE posts is, someone responded to this photo. His
grandmother is in it. She was Opal Gee. I haven't had any real response to
this photo yet and I'm very surprised. There are children in it that belong
to someone out there. You'd think the historical society would want it and
even Healdton Schools. I've tried the schools there - no response. I gave
up for a while.
