Rites Saturday
For Mrs. WRIGHT

Lamar-June 26-Services for Mrs. Lula WRIGHT, 85 will be held at 10 am
Saturday in the Church of Christ.
Mrs. WRIGHT died at 1:15 pm Thursday at her home following an extended
illness. She was born January 12, 1868, in Lee County, Miss. She moved to
Lamar from Keota in 1930. She had been a member of the Church of Christ for
70 years.
Survivors include, two sons, Ralph E. WRIGHT, Eufaula, Clyde WRIGHT,
Lamar; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha THORNBURG and Mrs. Gladys TOWNLEY, both
of Winter Park, Fla., and Mrs. Grace ELAM, Appoka, Fla.; 13 grandchildren,
20 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Bearers will be Shep MCCOY, Sam MCCOY, Bill ROBINSON, Leroy SMITH, Ottis
CONLEY and Sherman LOTT.
