It is my understanding that if you report gas gouging and IF they go
into a station that is caught gouging they will handcuffed and take to
jail the employees. Unfortunately, those who are guilty may not be on
the premises. My husband said if people see high prices they should go
and buy one gallon and get a receipt. Then when you call to report the
gas gouging, you have proof.

My husband is in the business. He gets his price increase/decrease
instructions from his home office. They were monitoring the situation
all day Tuesday...he spent nearly the whole day at work from 4 am to
11:30 pm due to the gas gouging that was going on and the anticipation
that OPEC would increase prices on crude oil.

We heard reports of $2.90/gal gasoline in the Dallas/Ft Worth area and
then other reports that we are not sure were accurate of $7.50/gal in
Oklahoma. Please remember, rumors fly quickly when tragedies hit.
