Heylo all,
I was searching on Mary Turner Kinard's pages today - what great work she has done! - and found many York's that I think are related. I thought I'd post them here, just in case.
YORK, J F 46 HIGHTOWER, E C MRS 46 23 MAR 1904 PHILLIPS AT2©439
(I this may be my grgrgrandfather's 2nd marriage)
YORK, GEORGE 27 DUNN, FANNY 16 4 SEP 1890 THURMAN MC1©36 (this may be myDunn connection - a member of family worked as a hired hand for a DUNN family in Carter Co, OK - Healdton)
CLARK, S J 24 THOMSPON, EMMA 16 19 JUN 1900 YORK E©7
I think that is Emma Thompson that married GJ YORK in 1900. I don't know how she could marry two men in the same year, though. Something strange here.
It's just too coincidental that this was in York, OK and so was an Emma Thompson to GJ.
THOMPSON, CLYDE YORK, LELA 24DEC1923 B5P631
YORK, JESSE JACKOWAY, RHODA 14SEP1920 B4P566
HAMILTON, ANDERSON 22 YORK, ADDIE 19 20 AUG 1898 RAVIA C 466©759 (Ravia - where Jesse Cleveland York was born)
BROWN, GRAM 22 YORK, MARY 20 27 APR 1898 RAVIA C 379©419 (Jesse Cleveland York was born in Ravia in 1904)
PULLIAM, WILLIE 26 YORK, MINNIE 21 21 JUN 1905 ARDMORE I©225 (some of my York's were in Carter Co)
Hope to find some connections and/or leads!
Thanks,
