George Lee CONLEY, age 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. CONLEY of Seminole,
died August 27 in Argentina, South America, from injuries received while
employed by Standard Oil company.....Gaskill Funeral Home...Fairview

Six young men were in the city jail charged with the theft of a car
valued at $100. Chief Jake SIMS said charges would be filed on a pair of the
boys, two had been ordered to leave Seminole and the other two will
"furnish" the territory for a public strapping." The fathers of the boys
have agreed that they will sling the leather against the backside of their
laps as a lesson for letting their hands stick to the worn out automobile.

A wedding of great interest to members of Seminole social circle was
that of Miss Jewel PRITCHARD and Raymond MONK, both of Seminole.....

Mrs. James W. PIPKIN of Chevrolet apartments returned from Stillwater
where she has been active in rush parties given by Kappa Alpha Theta
sorority at A&M college.
