Subject: [OKGEN ] Fw: Choctaw I.N. Record book

I wanted to let ya'll know that a Choctaw Indian Nations Record book is being sold on eBay. I wrote and told this lady that this should be donated to the OK Historical Society or the Society of her choice, or especially, the Choctaw Nation, so that many may get benefit and use from it, but she sees it differently. I know we're not supposed to advertise things for sale, and I'm not benefitting a bit from this nor am I promoting it for sale!!!!!! I did want to let others know so that maybe it can get into hands that will use it or donate it as it should be. Please feel free and do forward this to anyone and everyone you can think who might be interested in preserving this - I think we should let eBay and this lady know what we think of her trying to sell something she found that should rightfully be returned to a place where it can be of benefit!
Again, I am NOT trying to sell this - I have written eBay and encourage you to do the same, saying that this is an item that should not be sold on eBay as it belongs to the Choctaw Nation!
I hope this doesn't upset anyone that I've posted this or sent this to you, but this is the only way I knew to get the word out - we only have 8 days left to get this taken off eBay! You can find the link to the information on this item in the email below.
Thanks for your patience! And, again, please help!
Tsana

I am sending this to all recipients that asked for information about the 1883 Record book that Pam found ~
After contacting Christee's Auction without any results and taking this book to a book dealer who also was unable to give me a value, I decided to sell it the best way I know how. EBAY.
I have listed the Choctaw Indian Nations Record book that is dated between 1883 and 1897 on ebay. I've had many request from all of you and I'm sorry, I've been so slow on figuring out what to do. I was advised not to copy the book unless I had it professionally bound and sold actual books to the public. You now have the opportunity to buy it, I am running a 10 day auction and it can be found at: http://cgi.aol.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=884234141
Thank you all and good luck if you decide to bid! Pam
