Could someone do a Lookup for me in the Poteau, area of LeFlore County or neighboring county of McCurtain, Pushmataha, even Atoka county from my Grandmother? She would be 15 in 1920 and possibly living with neighbors or distant relatives in the area. My Gr.Grand-mother, her mother, died in 1918 from the great Flu outbreak. I can't find any burial information, death certificate or even a newspaper article over her death. I'm concentrating on Grandma since she was raised in that area of the state until she met a man by the name of Sam BATEMAN. About 1924 and had a son. Until that time, she could be with her natural father, John Thomas MITCHELL or living somewhere else until he retrieved her to finish raising. "Jewell Dean MITCHELL", 15 years old in 1920 ... her 1/2 brothers are listed as being named Theodore EMERY and Clifford EMERY ... their younger than her starting at abt. 11 for the older of the boys and then the other told to me age, 5 or 6. Neither of the boys age!
s can be confirmed due to I was unaware of grandma even having 1/2 brothers until near her death in 1995. "Any Help will be appreciated."
