Betty Florence Squires, 91, of Sallisaw, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2002, in Sallisaw. She was born July 21, 1911, in Bronx, N.Y., to John J. O'ROURKE and Mary Ellen (McMANNS) O'ROURKE. She married Waldemar Oscar "Bud" SQUIRES on Jan. 10, 1950, in New York City. He preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 1999.



Elmer WELLS, 82, of Irving, Texas, formerly of Sallisaw, was born Oct.9, 1919, in Braggs to William Calvin WELLS and Elizabeth (BLEVINS) WELLS. He died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2002, in Van Buren, Ark.
