Hello again Sue. I am a member of Ancestry and I did not see anything on
Nova Flowers either. I did however find a 1930 census entry for a John and
Nova Cordell. They were both born in Oklahoma but living in Detroit, Wayne,
Michigan. I had a Uncle that was named John and went by James....this could
be the same situation or vise versa. Here is the entry

John Cordell renting a home, pays $24, age 24, married when 20, did not go to
school, can read write and speak English, place of birth OK, father TX,
mother MS, Laboror at a auto factory

Nova Cordell, age 20, married at age 16, did not attened school, can read
write and speak english, place of birth OK, both parents born in OK,

L.C., son, age 1 year and 8 months, born in OK

Olan, son, age, 4 months, born in MI.
