Here is a tid bit. Wybark is in northern Muskogee County. 4 miles north of
Muskogee. A post office from January 18, 1890 to June 30, 1940. The name is
a modification of Verdark, the railroad name for the town which was coined
from the names of the Verdigris & Arkansas Rivers.
