Subject: New twig on the tree

Our fifth grandchild was born this morning. Gabby, names to long to even try
to remember so I told my daughter I was just going to call her Gabby, came
into this world at five pounds two ounces. Mother and daughter are doing
fine.

We got a call from my son a few days ago and he and his wife have started
the process to adopt a Chinese baby girl. Perhaps, if all goes as planned,
we will be grafting on a new twig next summer. I sometimes wonder about a
Chinese baby with an Irish last name though. Poor kid won't know what to
think. *<[;oD Anyway, something to look forward to next summer.
