My GGrandmothers name was Herlinda Serrato born abt.1865 in Miquihuana,
Tamaulipas. Her parents were Domingo Serrato and Venancia Alcola. She married
Juan
Trevino in 1880 in Victoria, Tamaulipas. He was from Matamoros. His parents
were Juan Trevino and Genoveva Garza. My GGrandparents owned a circus and
their
home was based in Monterrey, NL. Their children were, Ysidro, Enedina,(my
granny) Herlinda and Juan. My GGrandmother also had a brother named Gregorio
Serrato, born abt. 1853 and died in the Chickasha, Oklahoma area in the
1930's. He lived in the town of Pocasset.(sp) I'm told he owned one of the first
taxi service and a hotel in that area. If any of this information sounds just
a "little" bit familiar, or you know of the family, please contact me.
