Hi Jill,

Amazing.
The name "Thirza" is such an unusual name, and with her being in Grady
County I wondered if she was the same Thirza Pratt I have a picture of as a school
teacher in Minco, Grady County. Then I noticed her sister Juliet's last
name was "Pratt". Here's a picture of Juliet's sister Thirza Pratt and her
students at Minco High School before 1907:

Could I request a lookup for an obit or any mention of Juliet C. PRATT who
died 5 Oct. 1921, buried Rush Springs Cemetery.

I recently found this burial (Juliet C Pratt 1859-1921) in Rush Springs
Cemetery. Since I had an unconfirmed date of death, but no place, thought I
would be able to finally resolve where she died and ordered her death
certificate. Unfortunately Oklahoma vital records could find no death
registered for her so am almost back to where I started.

Juliet moved with her family from OK to Saskatchewan in 1913 and her husband
died there shortly after. Her family were all in Canada except for one
married daughter, Mrs Thirza Cox, who was living with her husband and
children at Cross twp, Grady Co. (1920 census). I presume Juliet was
visiting Thirza when she died, hence the burial at Rush Springs, but strange
that her death was not recorded in OK. There is always the possibility that
she died enroute, and unless there is a mention of her in a local paper, I
will probably never know.

Hoping someone can help me out.

Regards, Jill
