Does anyone happen to know if Oklahoma has opened their Adoption Records?

I posted the following message last night on the Pre-1940 Adoption List at Rootsweb:

We are looking for any adoption records pretaining to:

JEWEL SPEARS

that took place sometime between December 1922 through 1923. We do not have an exact date.

JEWEL SPEARS was born approximately 1916, in Haskell County, Oklahoma, to JENNIE (maiden name unknown) SPEARS and E.H. SPEARS.

They lived in the Beaver Mountain, Mountain Home, Hoyt, or Stigler area of Haskell County, Oklahoma.

Any information on this adoption would be greatfully appreciated. Jewel has 11 siblings (eight of whom are still living), that would love to hear about her life.

Just got a message from a CHERYL THOMPSON, along with an attachment (that I did not open) that Oklahoma and Kansas, had opened their Adoption Records. She also sent a LINK for me to click on, which I DID NOTdo that either, her message just looked suspecious to me (possible virus).

Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks in advance for your time and help.
