Hello:

Does anyone out there know where I can find records regarding a white
ancestor that was living in the Choctaw Nation in 1890? I don't have a
clue where to look and I would like to find his children and when/where he
died.

I'm searching for Arthur R. GIPSON, born Feb 1860 in TX. He married Joanna
BROWN on
7 June 1879 in Smith Co. TX and was living in Franklin Co. ARK by Sept
1884. He moved to the Skullyville County of the Choctaw Nation, Indian
Territory by Sept 1890. I've not found him on any 1880 Census and don't
know what records to search in order to look for him in 1890.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Wishing you and yours a very happy Christmas!
