Tanya, 1900 Census shows several Gipson families, but not an Arthur.

There is a Katie C. Gipson b 1883 AR listed as niece living with a
James B. Ervin.
John A. Gipson b 1847 AL, Elizabeth J (wife) b 1837 TN and dau Rena A. b
1878 AR.
George W Gipson b 1879 AR, Fala (wife) b 1860 AR.
Ben M. Gipson b 1853 MS, Mary J (wife) b 1857 MS, daus Malice, Willie,
Susie b 1879-1885 MS and sons Martin & Marlin b 1889/1894 IT
[IT=Indian Territory]
James E. Gipson b 1876 MS, Abbie M (wife) b 1875 AR and brother James
Arthur
b Oct 1878 AR.

SKULLEYVILLE COUNTY CENSUS and volunteered to do lookups.
