Hi. I am working on a number of LeFlore, Haskell County lines. My father was
born in Quinton, OK in 1925. My grandmother, Maggie LAWSON was born in 1906,
Tamaha, IT. Her parents were George LAWSON Jr. and Lillie LOVETT, they were
both born in Crawford Co., Ark. They came to IT in the late 1890's. George
Lawson's grandmother was Lovesy Lawson, born 1829, she came to the Poker
Bend area in the 1880's and is buried on Backbone Mountain, she died in 1902.
Lovesy was the daughter of John and Amy ROGERS, this family came to Crawford
Co., Ark in 1843, they are found on the Henderson Roll as Cherokee to move
west. Lillie LOVETT was the daughter of James Harvey LOVETT and Mary STRONG.
James Harvey came from Whitley Co., KY and is a descendant of the
CREEKMORE/BACHELOR/LOVETT line. James Harvey and Mary Lovett are buried in
the Old Miner's Cemetery at McCurtain, OK.... My grandfather was James Markes
DAILEY, born 1903, Tamaha, IT. He was the son of Milton Bryant DAILEY and
Moddie LOVELL. Milton Dailey was born unknown ca 1866. Moddie LOVELL was born
in 1879, Bokoshe, IT. Her parents were John LOVELL and Sarah <possibly>
BROWN, they are buried in the Old Panther Cemetery at Mc Curtain, OK. Moddie
had a brother named Jasper "Jess" Lovell. If you run across any of these
