I belong to another list in another state where everyone
seems welcom to post messages and info concerning family,
county history, etc They talk about things like where old
rural schools were and communities that no longer exist as
well and give each other info about family. it is just a really
great group of people helping each other. I posted a request
concerning a relative who died there many years ago and
right away got several replies !

it is so great! one can read it all or delete the things
they do not find interesting. and nobody has ever complained
about all the posts ( sometimes 20 to 30 a day ) Too bad
more of these geneology lists can't be so informative
