Hi. I'm trying to connect with McLains myself. If you have any information about an Elizabeth McLain who passed away around 1890-189?, I really appreciate it. She is my great grandmother and I'm having a dickens of a time finding out anything about her. She married George Washington Essman and had 2 children. A son named Thomas who died when he was young and my grandmother. Elizabeth passed away when my grandmother was young. We believe her maiden name was Young. Her mother's name possibly Louise. Thanks, Robin

Anyone who is related to (or who knows about) the McClains buried at Brazil
Cemetery in LeFlore County, particularly Frank McClain b. 1844/1845, please
contact me at . Frank McClain was my grandmother's
half-brother. Trying to reconnect with long lost family and determine
where Frank's and grandma's father, Alec McClain came from and who Frank's
mother was. Alec's name has been seen spelled Alec, Alex, and Elick.
Thanks,
Vicki Kea
