Houston Twp is now known as Hodgens in Leflore County, OK. You can find it on
a map south of Heavener if you don't know where it is.
I did find a marriage listing in our Leflore County marriages book volume 3,
1907-1915 with the following information:
John A. PAGE, age 66 of Summerfield, Leflore County, OK married Mrs. Mary M.
WOOTEN, age 68 of Reichert, Leflore County, OK on May 24, 1914. This is
recorded in book 4 page 297. You can probably get this record from the
Leflore County Clerk. The clerk's address is County Clerk, Leflore County
Courthouse, 100 So. Broadway, Poteau, OK, 74953. The phone number is
918-647-5738
Both Summerfield and Reichert are in the vicinity of Hodgens (Houston).
I don't know if this is your John Page or not but I thought it might be
something for you to think about. I hope it is him.
