If I am not mistaken there is a Rock Island, OK..... on the highway from
Poteau to Fort Smith by way of Pocola, you turn off to the right before
getting to Pocola, cannot remember the number of that road but it goes
right into Hackett, Arkansas. Anyway Rock Island is not far after you
turn off the highway. There is a church there that sits upon a hill and
some houses along the road. Am not sure just how big it is, but don't
believe it has a post office, but surely someone can correct me and give
better directions as I cannot remember the highway numbers.
