Im searching to find a teacher by the name of B. Draughon, in Love
County, probably Love County in about 1967.
My mothers 1st cousin, was James
Cavitt and his parents were James
Cavitt and Addie (Hilton) Cavitt.....
then the Grandson to James and Addie
sent me a picture of his father, their son
James Cavitt, this past year....He says
he doesnt know what school the picture
was taken in, but it was being torn down
and the picture was found....His father, James Cavitt was in the six
grade and
the teachers name was B. Draughon,
in Love County,Oklahoma.....I would
like to know more about the schools
where our old timers went back in the
1900's to 1967 etc....in Marietta, and
surrounding suburbs, as Enville I have
seen mentioned on this board.............
My Grandparents lived in Marietta,Love
County Oklahoma, Annie Jane (Hilton) and Doc McHenry Elliott Sr. until
their
death.....She died in 1989 and he died
in 1976.....

My family surnames around there are
Hilton, Findley, Elliott, Dugger, Henson,
Kent, Sauerburg, Brown, Long, and others on my mothers side and in
Marshall County,Ok.... Henry, Sizemore,
Ivey, Carter......

Also looking in Marietta ,Love County for my Great Grandmother, Elvira
Brown, daughter of Mary Fowler and Dave or David Brown...Elvira was born
January
12, 1871 in Texas and died Nov. 29,1945 Maybe in Ardmore,Carter Co. but
she is buried in the Lakeview Cemetery in Love County, Marietta,
Oklahoma. I cant find any record of her at the court house there. She
was married to Rabourn "Rabe" Elliott,born 1869 and died in 1904 in Cook
County,Tx.........

Anyone with any information, would be appreciated.
