Subject: [OKLOVE] Marietta couple weds in outdoor ceremony

Staci Nicole Davis of Marietta became the bride of Clay Alexander, also of Marietta, in an evening wedding held on the lawn at the home of Randy and Janeice McKinney.
The double-ring ceremony, held at 7:30 p.m. on June 23, was officiated by Steve Singleton before an arch adorned with spring flowers and butterflies. Hay bales, saddles and other western items decorated the lawn.
Parents of the bride are Lynn Davis of Burneyville and Mike and Tami Arledge of Courtney. Her grandparents are Larry and Norma Scott of Ardmore, the late Dickie Cain, Oma Ruth Davis of Wilson, and the late Bud Davis.
The groom is the son of Randy and Janeice McKinney of Marietta and the grandson of Fadene Teal and H.W. and Millie
McKinney of Marietta and the late Royce Teal.
The wedding music and evening entertainment were provided by Shane Norton.
April McKinney and Amber McKinney of Marietta, sisters of the groom, served as the candlelighters.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a simple yet elegant empire-waist gown trimmed in satin ribbon and satin buttons. She carried an arrangement of silk spring flowers and pearls.
Mindy Hurst of Marietta attended the bride as maid of honor. The bridesmaid was Traci Crossland of Durant.
Miss Hurst wore a gown of pink and Miss Crossland wore a yellow dress. The floor-length gowns were also trimmed in satin ribbon.
Ben Denny of Marietta served as the best man and Scotty Peery of Marietta was the groomsman. The ushers were Colton Robertson of Lewisville, Texas, cousin of the bride, Dylan Davis of Ardmore, the bride's nephew, and Garrett Young and Brian Young of Thackerville, cousins of the groom.
The flower girl was Jade Hallum of Marietta, niece of the bride,
and Cain Arledge of Courtney, brother of the bride, served as ring bearer.
The guest book attendants were Kaysie Robertson of Lewisville and Lyndsi Cain of Lone Grove.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony. The assistants, all from Marietta, were Kay Brown serving the cake, Amy Faulkenberry serving the punch, and Susan Bell and Jill Treadwell assisting with the food.
The wedding and reception were enjoyed by 250 friends and family members.
Following a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple
is at home in Marietta.
The bride, a 1998 graduate of Marietta, is currently attending Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where she is majoring in Criminal Justice. She is employed by First National Bank in Marietta.
Mr. Alexander graduated from Marietta High School in 2000 and is employed by Agile Aircraft Interiors.
