Graveside services for Albert Roberson, 73, of Turlock, California, were at 2:00 p.m. February 12 in the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella, California.

Mr. Roberson was born in Thackerville and died February 5, 1998, at his home in Turlock.

Mr. Roberson was raised in Oklahoma and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He moved to Turlock in 1946 and owned Al's Transmission from 1960 to 1987. Mr. Roberson was a member of Turlock VFW, the Turlock American Legion and COOTIES of Turlock.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Polly Roberson of the home in Turlock; three brothers, Leamon Roberson of Gainesville, Texas, and Kenneth Roberson and Ray Roberson of Thackerville; and a sister, Bernita Hayes of Wright City.
