Services for Leona Lemons were conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Officiating was Rev. Don Williams, pastor of the Enville Community Church. Special music was provided by the Enville Trio composed of Claudia Harris, Regina Rowland, and Cleta Willis.

Born November 19, 1913, at Belcherville, Texas, Mrs. Lemons died January 7, 1992, in the Lake Country Manor Nursing Home, Marietta, at the age of 78. She was the daughter of Jess and Myrtle Lowery Null.

Mrs. Lemons had been a resident of the Enville area most of her life. She was a homemaker and later worked for the State Welfare Department, retiring after 10 years of service. She married H.M. "Jack" Lemons October 27, 1928, at Madill, and he preceded her in death on November 21, 1991.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Ann Lemons of Enville and Raymond and Jimi Nell Lemons of Nacogdoches, Texas; a sister, Jessie Spencer of Irving, Texas; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were Marshall Vinson, Melvin Chaney, J.C. Harris, Gilbert Willis, Lee L. Lemons, and Bobby Willis.
