I am preparing to post an obituary for Velma E. Dewbre (nee Smith). Her parents were Wilson Nathan and Annie Lindsay Smith. She was born in Limestone County, Texas in 1903 but lived in the Orr and Courtney communties most of her life.

She doesn't exactly fit who you were searching for but some similarities.
