Services for Betty Blalock were at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Anderson-Kennedy Chapel. Officiating was Br. W. S. McMurtrey.
Mrs. Blalock was born October 20, 1939, in Love County, and died April 5, 1994, in the Love County Health Center, Marietta, at the age of 54. She was the daughter of William and Alma Moses York.
Mrs. Blalock had lived in Love County all of her life and married Ralph Blalock in 1960 at Frederick. She worked as a cook for 12 years at the Ole Coffee House and for three years at Denim's Restaurant. Mrs. Blalock was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Blalock of the home in Marietta; four sons, Everett Blalock of Durant, Larry Blalock of Thackerville, Barry Blalock of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and George Blalock of Ardmore; a daughter, Patricia Russell of Durant; two brothers, William York of Ardmore and Tony York of Marietta; two sisters, Mae Casebere of Ft. Smith and Sally Fleury of Glen Allen, Alaska.
Services were directed by the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home with interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Ross, David Payne, Louis Cross, Ralph Sparks, David Reed and Jeff Greenwood.
