Services for Rosemary Meyers, 72, were Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating was Murray McMurray, minister of the Thackerville Community Church of Christ.

Mrs. Meyers was born October 14, 1923, at Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Bethel and Arley Frances Massey Franklin.

Mrs. Meyers had lived in Marietta since 1971, moving here from Midwest City. She was the retired owner of the Hilltop Restaurant in Midwest City. Mrs. Meyers married Roy B. Meyers in 1975. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by a son, Steve Matthews of Marietta; five daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Wayne Kelley, June Wilson and Tommie Jane White of Marietta, Jeanene and Edward Burton of Thackerville, and Emily Frances Honea of Sanford, North Carolina; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Meyers was preceded in death by her husband in 1978; her parents and a grandson.

Services were directed by Kennedy Funeral Home with interment in Arlington Memorial Gardens, Midwest City, at 2:00 p.m. Monday. Serving as pallbearers were Dan Howard, Wayne Kelley, Bob Travis and Donald Ray Bratcher. Included as an honorary pallbearer was Carlos Garcia.
