Cecil E. Hill, born July 11, 1934 in Love County, went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2005, at the Midwest City Regional Hospital after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie June Hill, and his parents, Cecil H. and Mattie Jo Rhoades Hill.
He is survived by his wife of 13 1/2 years, Donna Hill of their home in Newcastle; daughter, Linda Flaggert of Choctaw; sons, Carl Hill and wife Shelley of Oklahoma City and Paul Hill of Harrah; grandchildren, Jeff Flaggert and wife Heather of Choctaw, Kara Mendez and husband Miguel of El Paso, Texas, Joshua, Kelle and Joel Flaggert all of Choctaw, Chase Hill and wife Rachel of Springfield, Missouri, Dustin Hill of Oklahoma City and Michelle Hill of Choctaw; great-grandchildren, Gabriella and Isabelle Mendez of El Paso, Jayke and Jarrett Flaggert of Choctaw; sisters, Odessa Reasoner of Amarillo, Texas, Maxine Bealer of Sierra Vista, Arizona and Betty Wolfe and husband Bill of Marietta; sisters-in-law, Louise Elmore of Sherman, Texas, Jean Crossley and husband Dan of Moore, Fern Keith of Wilson and Joyce McDowell of Del City; brother-in-law, Gary Seebeck and wife Karen of Chickasha; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Alice and Leon Seebeck of Verden, and a host of nieces, nephe!

Cecil graduated Thackerville High School in 1953. He will be remembered by his friends, the "Class of '53" and his Coach Edgar Wallace, for his dedication and love of basketball. He retired from Baker Oil Tools in September, 2003 after 42 years. He was respected throughout the oil industry in Oklahoma and surrounding states for his honesty, integrity and work ethics. He then started full-time the job he so dearly loved, the ministry of cooking with his wife Donna at the Midwest City Baptist Church, where he also served as Deacon. He was a Master Mason in Whitesboro, Texas, Lodge 263. He was a devoted and committed servant of the Lord and will be remembered as a witness of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The joys of his life were his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His strength, courage and faith will sustain his family and friends until we meet him again. Cecil, Daddy and Papaw will always be loved and remembered.
Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2005, at the First Baptist Church of Midwest City. Officiating were Dr. Mike Tignor, Rev. Leo Smith, Rev. Jim Northcutt, Dr. Bob Hinson, Rev. Jimmie Tribble and Rev. Keith Gilming.
Honorary pallbearers were Davie and Dickie Minyard, Mike Burkhart, Floyd, David and Bill Reasoner, Sam, Larry and Gary Elmore, Gary Seebeck and Danny Crossley. Pallbearers were Jeff, Josh and Joel Flaggert, Chase and Dustin Hill, and Levi Farmer. Burial was in Arlington Memorial Gardens, Midwest City.
