Memorial graveside rites for Ruth Hinton, 82, of Thackerville, were held at 2 p.m., Monday, February 21, with a private burial service held February 18 in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Thackerville. Arrangements were directed by Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home, Ardmore.

Born March 22, 1922, at Iowa Park, Texas, the daughter of Claude and Margaret Teafatiller, she died Friday, February 18, 2005, at Mercy Health/Love County Hospital, Marietta.

She had been a resident of Thackerville since 1971.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Damron of Price, Utah; three sons, Larry Hinton and Richard Hinton of Thackerville and Mike Hinton of Seiverville, Tennessee; two brothers, Jack Teafatiller of Marietta and Doug Teafatiller of Thackerville; nine grandchildren, Sean Wright, Heather Davis and Tahnee Redman all of Utah, Shayne Hinton, Kris Hinton and Phillip Hinton all of Tennessee, Richard Hinton and John Hinton of Thackerville and Mandy Berryhill of Ardmore; and several great-grandchildren.

This obituary included a picture of Mrs. Hinton.
