Jay Hill has been named as Resident of the Month at Lake Country Nursing Center for the month of September.

Jay Hill was born April 26, 1911.

She and James Hill were married on January 11, 1928. She has three children, nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She is a member of Eastside Baptist Church, Golden Girls Social Club and Red Hat Society. Her nickname is Jay Bird.

Her favorite color is blue and her other favorites include: music-gospel; food-anything; flower-rose; president of USA, past or present, Franklin D. Roosevelt; pastimes while at LCNC-playing dominoes, visiting and word puzzles; pastimes while at home-reading, cooking, helping everyone, visiting, going to the Nutrition Center and sharing about the love of Jesus; and her favorite friend at LCNC-Ruby (Teeters) Flanagan with whom she has been best friends since grade school.
