Linda,
According to the 1895 Woods Co., O.T. Directory Edward
Wilson filed on SE/4 of Section 2 of Township 22N,
Range 11W - Entry #2683 filed on Nov. 7, 1893. This
was the section just northeast of A. Spenner. Edward
Wilson sold the land to James C. Oakley (whose name is
listed as owner in the 1906 Woods Co. Standard Atlas)
on Dec. 12, 1905. This is from the Grantor Index at
the Major Co. County Courthouse.
In the Marriages Index at the Courthouse:
Feb. 20, 1896 - Arnold Spenner, age 24, b. Kansas,
residence Cleo, OT married Mary Isabella Wilson, age
17, b. Ohio, residence Cleo, OT.
