Mourine ‘Cricket’ Torti
The funeral for Mourine "Cricket" Torti will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home, Grants Pass. Committal will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Mrs. Torti, 51, of Enumclaw, Wash., formerly of Grants Pass, died Wednesday (Aug. 14, 2002) at St. Joseph Hospital, Tacoma, Wash.

She was born on Oct. 27, 1950, in Wright City, Okla. She grew up in Grants Pass. On Dec. 24, 1969, in Grants Pass, she married Robert A. Torti Jr., who survives. They moved to Enumclaw, Wash., in 1975.

Mrs. Torti was member of the Church of Christ in Enumclaw.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Torti enjoyed growing flowers and riding horses.

In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Robert Alfred III, Thompson Falls, Mont., and Jason Allen, Enumclaw; four sisters, Ella Jane Holman and Maxine Lambert, both Grants Pass, Anna Rose of Medford and Janice Rose, Merlin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard D. and Anna Lucille (Rose) Stepp.

Arrangements: Chapel of the Valley, Grants Pass.
