Bonnie,
Hello. I am on this board and have lurked for a while. I noticed your
e-mail and was hoping maybe you could help me. I am researching my
great-grandmother. My mom can't tell me much, that is why I joined this
group. I do know she was full blood Choctaw. Her name was Myrtle
Whitlee(I think), she married Arthur Smith in 1907. They had four
daughters and three sons.They tell me she is buried somewhere there
around Idabel. They used to own some land there. I have been talking
with all my Aunts and they really don't remember much that will help me
in tracking down our roots. My daughter is doing some school work on our
history so if you could help I would appreciate it so much! If you need
more information please let me know or e-mail me privately. Thanks- Lisa
