OH my gosh!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I never knew my Grandfather had a draft card!!! As you found out my grandfather and his bros and sis' were all born in and around Louisville, KY.

Yes Albert and Missouri were his parens. All the ones you have listed are his brothers and sisters. They also had two other children born but not living to adulthood. I found this in a family bible.

I never knew they lived in Bellrose, Oldham Co., KY. (where is this present day?) on the 1900 census.

Great Uncle William (Bill) McWethy's history in Coal County, OK., states "The McWethy family moved in 1901 to Valliant, OK., from Hard County, AR. (I believe this might have been Howard Cty, AR. due to his heavy accent, there was a lady writing this info down for him), Stayed until 1904 and moved to Tushka, OK. Charlie got a job hauling the cottonseed to Durant with the wagon and mules. 1905 moved to Wesley, Ok. where Bill handled chains to load logs, and Charley drove the oxen and around 1906 also worked at Ft. Towson. Later part of 1906 came to Coal County."

Prior to living in AR., was in KY.

Great Uncle Theo did live in Coal Cty., "living on Margaret Browns place, where he farmed broom corn".

Yes, my grandfather did die 2/1968.

No Julia never moved to California. Julia Essie davis, b. 5/30/1890 (listed on headstone) in Indian Territory, OK and d. 9/19/1924 Clarita, OK. She died in childbirth as well as the baby boy.

Yes my Dad passed away 9/29/1986 in Antioch, California (where I live).

Please don't be sorry. You have given me more info then I could ever dream. I live in California and it's hard to look up info in Oklahoma if you are not there.

Thank you so very much again. I really appreciate it.

Carol Davis McWethy
