George Washington Mendenhall I have done some checking in our collection of
Polk City Directories for Oklahoma City. I was not able to locate Geo. W.
Mendenhall in the 1921 directory; found him in the1925 directory as "fireman
state capitol bldg. but, no address given; in 1928 he is listed along with
wife Tryphosia as Eng. state capitol bldg. and a residence at 1417 West 21st
in Oklahoma City; in 1930 listed as Plumber state capitol bldg., but, no
address given; 1932 Geo W. Mendenhall (wife T. Almiro) fireman state capitol
bldg. lived at 1421 NE 21st St. Oklahoma City; 1933 (the address at 1421 NE
21st is listed as "vacant"), 1939, 1942, 1945, 1948 no listing for a Geo. W.
Mendenhall in Oklahoma City.
This was done for me at Oklahoma Historical Sociality Thanks for the
response. Terry
