This is an answer from a cousin of mine that I asked about the cemetery. She was born and raised in Okmulgee and knows the area .

The old Indian cemetery is at the South Morton and 13th street junction. Morton dead ends at 13th. I am sure it is still there. Also, there is a small Indian cemetery on some land we used to own south of town off the Okmulgee-Henrietta highway. (Highway 75) I could take you right to it but I am not sure how to tell you to get there.



The golf-course is indeed expanding. We were there in May and played the course. It is not as far south as the cemetery and is quite a ways farther east. It is expanding to the west-and a little to the south. It can't go much south but it can at a more SW corner. It can go some West but not a lot because of apartments on the West side. It is at least a couple of miles away from the cemetery.
