Several people have been searching for information on a man known as "Greasy Slim" who lived in Calico Rock, AR. I found his obituary yesterday.

"Slim" Harris Found Dead at Home

The body of "Slim" Harris, 71, was found early Friday morning at his home here in Calico Rock by neighbors who became alarmed after not seeing him about town for two or three days. It is not known definitely when death occurred.

William Luther Harris was born November 20, 1885, at Beggs, Okla. He had no living relatives as far as anyone knows.

Burial was immediate due to the condition of the body. Graveside services were conducted by Rev. Charles Casteel
Friday afternoon April 19th. Interment was in the Rose Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Hall Funeral Home.
