I am having an awful time trying to find out where my Weatherford line
came from. It seems to stop in McAlester. My g-grandfather was George
Clyde Weatherford (called Clyde) b. ca. 1889 in TX. He married Rilla
Maud Conley b. ca. 1894 in McAlester on 1 January 1912. They had at
least two children, Maurice Elsworth Weatherford b.18 November 1912 in
Haileyville, and a daughter called Jane. Clyde may have had a younger
brother and a father named Arthur, but that's only speculation at this
point.

I have the Clyde/Rilla marriage license and the birth cert. for Maurice,
but that's all I can find. Maurice married Alta Leona Jeffrey (b. 3
April 1916 in Kingfisher) in Okmulgee in the 1930's I believe.

Can someone help me find these people or someone connected to them?
They were supposed to be Choctaw, but a lot of families pass down an
unproven Indian blood story so I don't know if there's anything to it.
