Subject: [OKPONTOT] wife of postmaster?

One more help! request:
I have rec'd the marriage license of a Joseph F. York and Ellen Machem marr.
July 5, 1874 in St. Clair, AL. (has Heiram? as witness)
I think this may be my Joseph. It has no ages only a note they were both of
age and had their parents consent. If these are mine (and I have a hunch
they are) they came to OK in the late 1880's or the early 1990's, and as my
previous message stated, Joseph would have been the first postmaster of
York, I.T., OK.
Are there any records for Ellen Machem York that someone has ran across.
She may have been widowed in her 40's.
Thanks for any thing!!
Becky York
