Hi, My name is Robin. I am new to this list and am hoping that someone
may be able to help me with my research. My family left Oklahoma during
the "Dustbowl" in 1939.
They were from Konawa, Seminole County, OK. Some family stayed behind, my
family went west to California (Escondido, San Diego County).

Here is what I know;

Edward Mason married Rose Bryant (Edward is said to have been a
Confederate Soldier in the Civil War).

Had 10 children;

1. Edward MASON
2. Wickliffe MASON
3. Landon MASON
4. Fannie MASON
5. Elizabeth MASON (aka Martha Elizabeth) (see below)
6. Mose MASON
7. Curtiss MASON
8. Taylor MASON
9. Vicey MASON
10. Miles MASON

Martha Elizabeth Mason (b: Arkansas) married Joseph David Lee (b:
Missouri)

Had 9 children;

1. William LEE
2. Vincent LEE b: 4/9/1912
3. Bert Edward LEE b: 5/20/1908
4. Lena LEE b: 9/11/1909 in Konowa, Seminole County, Oklahoma
5. Anna Belle LEE
6. John LEE b: 6/29/1914
7. Fannie Mae LEE b: 6/11/1914
8. David LEE b: 11/23/1921
9.Curtis LEE b: 9/30/1916

Could SKS please look up these families in the appropriate Census .
I would like to hear from anyone who knows of or who can help with these
families.
Family lore says we may be from the General Robert E. Lee line, but I
have no proof of that at this point. Any suggestions of where I should go
next is appreciated.
